My experience in Dublin was fantastic! I took a course at the Atlantic Language school and it couldn’t have gone better. I chose the intensive option since I was going for a short amount of time and I wanted to take advantage of my time to the fullest. I took part in the 30+ programme and, even though it was really well organised, finally I ended up mixing with students of all ages. I stayed with a host family, and although I recognise this was what I was most afraid of, the experience was really great. My host mother, Pamela, or Pam like I called her, is an amazing host and we still keep in touch!

Thanks to the professionalism and personal attention of ESL – Language Travel, all of this was possible, so I hope to be able to repeat the experience again soon, and without a doubt I’m counting on them!

This has been an incredibly satisfying experience – I’ve learned so much during these four weeks. The residence was really nice, I liked the school and the teachers were very professional, always trying to make the experience as comfortable and fun as possible, especially the afternoon classes.

Dublin, although it’s a very expensive city, is really pretty and the people are very friendly. They never hesitate to help if you need it.

What’s more, they arranged for a taxi to take me from the airport to the residence, and even though it might have been cheaper to do it myself, it’s really nice as the first day can be complicated anyway.

I definitely recommend taking this course – it’s a great opportunity to improve your English level and learn more about another culture.

Atlantic School in Dublin is a great school. The classes are very educational and fun, the accessibility of the teachers is great and their facilities are exceptional. The school staff always try to do everything they can and more so that you feel completely welcomed. Every afternoon there are free (or very cheap) activities that you can sign up for, and at weekends, there are excursions to see some of the most beautiful places in Ireland.

My stay was for 2 weeks and I stayed at the “Binary Hub” residence. It was a bit far from the school, but it’s a nice walk along the river. On the other hand, the residence was practically brand new – everything was very clean and both the students and staff were very friendly.

The experience was unbeatable – I was able to meet a ton of people, all from different countries, and with them I was able to discover every corner of this beautiful city, where there’s always something new to do or see.

I spent a week in Dublin studying English at the Atlantic Language school. The school staff was very attentive to students and helped us in any way that they could. The classes helped me learn vocabulary and answered many questions I had had for a long time, but, however, the best experience was meeting people from around the world. In the mornings, we had class, and in the afternoons, we made plans together, which greatly helped me become more comfortable speaking English. A month after my stay in Dublin, I spent a month working outside of Spain and I was able to confirm that, like I thought, the week was worth it because my English had improved so much.

My course was divided into vocabulary and grammar in the morning and pair working in the afternoon, where we could speak about multiple topics. Every Friday, we had a test; this was very useful to go deeper into some topics and keep improving. The school is well organized, students are warmly welcomed and classes are well divided. Activities are not always interesting, it depends on the teacher, but there are many things to see in Dublin; there is something for everyone! I really enjoyed museums about Irish history, writers or beer (Guinness), as well as Irish people’s kindness. This programme is very interesting if you want to improve a language; the fast and visible progress will motivate you to keep going! My host family was really nice and the accommodation very clean. We didn’t speak very often, but when I started a conversation, then it was very good.

My stay at Atlantic Language was very productive. I significantly improved my speaking skills, and that was my main goal. The school was great and perfectly organized, but I think it’s more suitable for longer stays. I stayed with an Irish host family and I was very happy about it; they were great and treated me like a family member.

I spent a really good time in Ireland, more specifically in Dublin. The school is brand new and well located; all the classrooms are very well equipped. I loved the fact that I could speak with people from all over the world. We were 11 in my class, so progress was easy. My host family was great and lived only 30 minutes away from the school, by train. I decided to stay in Dublin; I found a job and I will stay longer to keep improving my English.

I spent 3 months in Dublin, I studied at Dublin Atlantic language. My stay went very well, as well in town as at the school, where the atmosphere was amazing. At the school, everyone is very friendly, the teachers, the students and especially the receptionists. Everyday, various activities are offered by the school, each more interesting and funny than the last. To finish, Dublin is a great town, for its cultural activities as well as for its nightlife.

Irish people are said to be very welcoming. Good news: this is not only a rumour, it is actually true! I spent a month in Dublin and stayed with a really cool family. Always available, talking to me, interested in what I was doing – these were great conditions to practise English. The school is located in the centre of Dublin, which makes it easy to explore the town centre. Standard courses were interesting, but perhaps not intensive enough for me. In any case, the school staff were close to students and attentive to their needs, which was much appreciated. And Ireland...well, what a beautiful country! Beautiful excursions to make, beautiful landscapes to explore: this was a real change of scenery for me.
