Our language school in Bordeaux is situated at the heart of the Gironde capital, in one of the most chic and animated areas of the city. The language school occupies a historic 19th-century building. It has 10 bright, air-conditioned classrooms, a study room with computers, a Wi-Fi network and, for when you wish to relax after your French lessons, there is a lounge which opens out onto a lovely interior garden. Teaching takes place in small groups of 10 to 12 people. The school enjoys a relaxed, international atmosphere.

Do you think you've made progress?
School highlights
« Kleine, überschaubare, symphatische Schule, sehr gut gelegen. Engagierte Lehrer.
Extraordinaire. »

Testimonials

Alberto De Leon
Alberto De Leon
France Langue, Bordeaux
Duration: 20 weeks

First day at school: I was satisfied to receive all the information before my arrival in France. I had contacted my host family a week before and was welcomed by them. They helped me to find the easiest way to reach our school on my first day. Everything was fine on the first day at school, from the information meeting until the end of the first lessons. During my stay: I have been able to add extra courses for a few weeks to work on specific needs (writing skills). Regarding the accommodation, I decided to stay the whole time with the same family. End of my studies: I am currently thinking of staying a little bit longer in the courses and with the family. The head teacher is looking for a group level in which I could stay and improve my language skills. Life in Bordeaux: I had heard of Bordeaux due to the wine industry but I really discovered the city once in France. I took time after classes and on weekends to visit around the city but also the region.

The staff were fantastic, and paid particular attention to my request for emphasis on spoken rather than written French. They were charming, helpful and delightful 'professeurs'. I loved every moment of my course, and gained in confidence every day. My host family was perfect, one was a retired English teacher, the other a retired French teacher. They never used their knowledge to interfere with my spoken French. I gained confidence enormously. I am now quite comfortable conversing with strangers on almost any subject, although I know I do make mistakes.
