Being immersed in the culture of a country is, without a doubt, one of the best ways to learn the language. Living with a Spanish family in San Sebastián is an enriching experience, which will give you the chance to get to know the locals, their customs and the legendary Basque cuisine. It’s also an opportunity to practise your Spanish daily in an authentic context. Host families are chosen with care and know the school well. Located about 5-30 minutes from the school, you will have the choice of a single room or a double room (for students travelling together). You will also have the choice of receiving either breakfast, half-board, full-board, or no meals.

If you would like to meet and live with other students from the school or with locals, a shared apartment could be ideal for you. With this option, you will have your own room with a desk for studying and share the common areas (living room, kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine) and daily life with your flatmates.

Located in the seaside suburb of Antiguo, the residence is about a 30-minute bus ride from the town centre and the school. You will stay in a single bedroom, with your own bathroom, mini-fridge and television, and have breakfast with the other guests (international and local) in the residence cafeteria. For your convenience, a large number of communal facilities are available, including a lounge with a ping-pong table, table football and a pool table, plus a library, multimedia area, music rooms, study rooms, a gym, a basketball court, coin-operated laundry facilities and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the residence. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed every two weeks.
