This is the ideal accommodation option for total language immersion. The families, which are carefully selected by our school, generally live around 20-30 minutes by foot or by bus from the school. Students stay in single rooms with half-board during the week and full board at weekends. If you're travelling with another student, you can request a double room. Staying with a host family will allow you to discover English culture from the inside and to practise the language in a friendly environment!

Our partner school proposes a varied programme of optional activities designed to enhance your learning, help you make new friends and introduce you to local culture while exploring new places. There are regular book clubs, conversation clubs, job skills workshops and ‘Meet the British’ workshops when local people visit the school to introduce you to aspects of UK culture such as Tea Tasting, British Art or Local Music. You will also be able to participate in numerous excursions at reduced prices, including trips to the countryside, mountains and coast of North Wales, the dynamic cities of Liverpool and Manchester, local villages and scenery in The Lake District and The Peak District. Visit the Alton Towers theme park or participate in a guided visit of Chester, during which you will learn about its incredible history and the secrets of its numerous small streets, unless you would prefer to go on a tour of the town's pubs!
