Staying with a host family is a unique opportunity to make the most out of your language study stay by practising the English learned in class on a daily basis. Our partner school carefully selects host families who usually live 45 minutes average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 60 minutes). Students stay in a single or double bedroom and can choose either half board, breakfast only or no board (for students travelling alone).

For students who value privacy and independence above all else – this residence offers pleasant studio apartments, just a 20 minute’s walk from the school. Each room has a bed with storage, Wi-Fi desk, chair, an ensuite bathroom, and a private kitchen for students to cater for themselves – common areas are cleaned regularly but students will need to keep their own room clean. Linen will be provided but students should bring their own towels – both of which can be cleaned for a fee using the onsite facilities. The residence has a laid-back courtyard and picnic area to enjoy on sunny days, as well as a gym, cafe, and a grab-and-go breakfast option, perfect for the hectic student lifestyle!

This residence is ideally located in the beating heart of Manchester – just a two-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly and less than 10 minutes from the school. Students can choose either a premium or standard single room – both with an ensuite bathroom. Standard rooms have a small double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, mirror, and storage. Premium rooms have the same furnishings but are larger and have a mini fridge and microwave for private dining. The residence will provide linen but students should bring their own towels – There are laundry facilities available for a fee. There is a shared kitchen, and students will need to cater for themselves. Between classes, students can enjoy the residence’s many facilities, including multiple social spaces, an onsite gym, a bowling alley, a cinema room, and a karaoke room.
