I chose to study in England because it is important for me to study in a country where history and culture are strong. I wanted to improve my English language skills but also to acquire the English accent. And I made the right choice to join the 30 plus programme. Teachers are very well prepared in addition to being very kind and helpful. Courses were just fascinating with an excellent balance between grammar and cultural aspects. I also took some one-to-one courses that were totally adapted to my requests and needs, for example I could have technical support for writing professional letters or samples of my CV.

Then London as a city is just an incredible place! Impossible to get bored with everything that is on offer, from museums to pubs or shopping... My favourite places were Soho, Camden and of course Covent Garden! Thank you so much to everyone!! I will miss you for sure..

EC 30+, London
Duration: 4 weeks

Hello everyone!

My name is Cristina and I'm spanish.  When I lost my job I felt it was time to improve my english and EC Covent Garden +30 absolutely met all the requirements I was looking for, so I decided to come for a month.

You will ask whether it is worth it. Of course it is! Here you can meet great people from other countries and different cultures with the same goals as you. At the school everybody works hard to meet your aims: learn and improve the language, will be easy and fun.

With the different teachers you practice grammar, learn new vocabulary and how to pronounce it correctly, and more important, they help you to put into practice in the most natural way: talking.

But there is more, after the classes, the school offers you the possibility to visit the most important places, museums and monuments of the city in the very good company.

At the weekend also there is the possibility to perform various activities such as trips, musicals and plays. Everything you can imagine and more.

Finally, if your are thinking about starting a new experience like mine, I recommend you don't hesitate and get in touch with ESL. They will be happy to give you all the information you need.

Duration: 2 weeks

I spent two great weeks at the EC London School for students over age 30, and the truth is that it was an amazing experience. From the moment you arrive, you feel wonderfully welcomed and taken care of. Both the residence and the school completely fulfil your expectations, and the school organises lots of different activities. This type of experience allows you to learn in addition to meeting tons of people in an international environment. You experience London in a different, incomparable way. I’ll be going back!

London needs no introduction. The central location of the school and excellent transport links mean you will be free to explore the English capital at your own pace. But don’t miss out on the highly attractive leisure programme offered by the school! Activities include museum visits, city tours, trips to surrounding areas, disco nights, excursions to Bath and Stonehenge, etc. Together with the other students, also aged 30+, exploring the city and its surroundings will be even more enjoyable!
