Southern Lakes English College is located in the centre of Queenstown, close to shops, banks, parks, cafés and restaurants. This school, which is deliberately small in size, offers students optimal learning conditions with a notably very high quality teaching staff. It is made up of 13 spacious classrooms and a common room with a kitchenette and a ping-pong table. Zu viele Brazillianer (!!!) in der Schule. Sehr oft hörte man nur Portugiesisch oder Spanisch. Echt Schade.Auch Thailändisch war extrem oft zu hören.. Freizeitangebot war ein wenig Mager.. Milford Sound war nur Bedingt billiger..

« Man sollte UNBEDINGT 1-2 Wochen nach der Schule eine Reise einplanen. Neuseeland ist wunderschön und ich bereue es echt, dass ich dies nicht tun konnte. Man kann super günstig ein Auto mieten (Bitte nicht internationalen Führerausweis vergessen) und die schönsten Orte sehen. »

Der Auslandsaufenthalt hat sich total gelohnt. Neuseeland ist wunderschön und ich liebe Queenstown. Eine kleine Stadt mit viel Charakter und alles nah beieinander. Die Sprachschule war wie eine große Familie und alle immer super hilfsbereit und herzlich. Würde es sofort wieder machen.

Host family
Known for their hospitality, staying with a New Zealander family during your stay in Queenstown is the best possible way to get acquainted with the “kiwi" way of life. Our partner school carefully selects host families, who generally live around 30 minutes away from the school. You will stay in a single room with half board provided.

Student House
This comfortable residence offers single or twin rooms, with shared bathrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided, Wi-Fi is included (10 GB per room per month), and coin-operated laundry facilities are available on site. If you want to hang out with the other students, you can meet them in the living room and in the shared kitchen. The Student House is located in the city centre, a 5-minute walk from the school.

Remarkables Park apartments
Located 15-20 minutes from the school by bus, these cosy apartments feature 3 en-suite rooms (2 triple + 1 twin), a fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining room where you’ll be able to spend time with your international flatmates. Bed linen and towels are included, as well as Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. The bus stop – which is only 4 minutes away – is at the shopping centre, where you’ll also find a supermarket, a gym and multiple shops and restaurants.
