This is the best way to fully immerse yourself in the language and culture of Bocas del Toro. Living in a Panamanian household is a unique experience where you will be given a warm welcome and become part of the family. This is a golden opportunity to speak Spanish all day long and learn more about local customs. Our partner school’s host families are carefully chosen and live between 10 and 20 minutes from the school on foot. You will stay in a single room (or a double if you are travelling with another person) and share communal areas with your hosts. You have two daily food options to choose from: breakfast or half-board.
Cala Luna Hotel
Conveniently located only a few blocks away from our partner school, Cala Luna provides bright and spacious rooms with air conditioning, a safe box, a refrigerator, and a small balcony. The hotel also offers comfortable common areas – decorated in the same simple and elegant style as the bedrooms -, an outdoor patio with chairs and hammocks, and fantastic Italian cuisine as well as daily fresh Panamanian coffee. What else could you ask for on a language stay in paradise?
Bed & Breakfast
The school has a selection of small bed and breakfasts in quiet, residential areas near the course centre. This accommodation is ideal for those who enjoy peace and quiet and their independence. Several room types are available (single/double bedrooms).
