Our partner school enjoys a strategic location in the heart of the university area, on a very lively street lined with bars, restaurants and shops. The town’s heritage centre is 10 minutes’ walk away. The course centre occupies four floors of an impressive, recently renovated historical building. Facilities include 12 comfortable classrooms, a study room equipped with computers, a kitchen, a dining hall as well as a small garden. You will be able to access internet free of charge throughout the course centre.

Die Organisation und Betreuung von ESL war wunderbar und ich fühlte mich gut aufgehoben. An der Sprachschule im Aufenthaltsland arbeiteten motivierte Lehrer mit uns und ermöglichten mir einen guten Lernerfolg. Das Praktikum danach war genauso, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte und ich wurde gleichermassen gefordert wie gut unterstützt und konnte meine Sprachkenntnisse gleich anwenden. Würde es sofort wiederholen!

Host family
This accommodation option is a great opportunity to immerse in the local culture and daily life. Staying in a single room (private bathroom on request) with half board provided, you will have everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay. Most host families reside not far from the school, which means you can walk to the course centre.

Sandhurst House apartment
The school apartments are located in a quiet district only a stone's throw away from the centre of Belfast and the main bus stations. Located only a few seconds walk away from the school, the apartments occupy an impressive, modern building. They have all modern comforts, including one or two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a WC and one or two bathrooms. Bedlinen and bath towels will be made available to you on your arrival. You will also have access to a washing machine and free WiFi connection within the apartment. From the apartments, situated close to the university campus, you will easily be able to access numerous bars, restaurants and shops. Please note that large bedrooms may be booked for two people, if you are travelling as a couple. Furthemore, if you wish, you may book an entire apartment for individual use.

During high season participants are accommodated in college residences carefully selected by our partner school.

This newly built block of apartments is situated in a quiet street just around the corner from IH Belfast, which makes it ideal for our students, as they are only a few seconds away from IH Belfast and at the same time they are near the University district of Belfast, which is full of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. The city centre and all main bus stations and train stations are within walking distance. The building is completely new and finished to a very high standard and consists of 1 and 2 bedroom, fully furnished apartments. The flats have a kitchen, a dining area, 1 toilet, 1 or 2 showers and a lounge.
