I spent 3 amazing weeks in Brighton. The school was very well located, a lot of its classrooms have a view to the sea, it is well connected to the public transportation system and within walking distance to the city’s main attractions.

It’s not always easy to get a mix of nationalities at schools, but EC has exceeded my expectations. There were around 5 different nationalities in each group.

I’ve completely fallen in love with Brighton. It’s a lovely city, with its small independent shops, the beach, its famous pier, the pubs and its cosy tearooms, which are perfect to spend rainy afternoons in. In short, it’s been a very enriching experience and it was a privilege to live in this amazing city for 3 weeks. Brighton will always be a good choice!

Brighton is a beautiful city, neither too big like London nor too small. With its Pier, the Lanes (where you can find vintage stores and nice cafés and restaurants), its city centre and of course the typical English pubs and the clubs. People are very friendly. I studied at the EC school, which is a few minutes away from the residence where I lived. The teachers are great and the school organizes many activities in the evening during the week, like pub nights, bowling, laser games, guided tours of Oxford, Cambridge or other cities.
This stay was my best experience so far, I met a lot of new people and some of them became real friends.

I chose to travel to Brighton, 5 weeks with a host family and then 5 weeks in a residence, and both options are great. I was very anxious, but when I arrived, I received a warm welcome from the family, the staff and the other students at the school. The teachers were brilliant and when you play the game and try not to speak your mother tongue with the others, you make rapid progress. The atmosphere was nice, the locals were very friendly. Brighton has everything you need, it’s like a smaller version of London by the sea. This was an unforgettable experience and I strongly recommend it. I would love to go back there as soon as I can, but for a longer time!

The month I spent in Brighton was absolutely great! The city itself is extraordinary and there are always plenty of things to do. Beach, shopping, evenings at the pubs, clubs ... everything seems to have been made to encourage new encounters and make friends. At the residence where I stayed, meeting new people was even easier. During the first days of my language study experience, I got to know a lot of new people of different nationalities and age groups, who made me immediately feel like one of them! The school was really outstanding, situated in an ideal location, and all staff members, from the teaching staff to the receptionists, were excellent. Lots of unforgettable encounters and, definitely, one of the best experiences of my life!

The three months I spent in Brighton were unforgettable, I spent great moments in this beautiful city. Brighton is a very nice city by the sea and very close to London, which is a plus. The nightlife is very lively all week long, there are great clubs and pubs. EC is a very good school, the teachers are fantastic and so is the staff. I don’t regret my choice of accommodation, living in a residence with people from other countries and cultures is a great experience. I met great people whom I will never forget and hope to see again soon!

I chose Brighton because I was told it was a party town. And I could verify it. Brighton is a relatively young and very active town since most of its inhabitants are students. You will therefore find something to do at any time of the day!

As regards the school, EC is just amazing, the teachers are well-trained and really attentive to your needs.

I was staying in a residence. If you are quite independent and sociable, choose this option, you will not be disappointed!

So for me, Brighton is the perfect city for an English course, because it is located by the sea, some 50 minutes away from London and, of course, it is a great town for partying!

I chose England and Brighton because I had heard a lot about the nightlife and it is without any doubt one of the best cities. The EC school was recommended to me by ESL and some friends. The classes and the teachers are good. My host family was fantastic! I met several people and I liked the time I spent here. It had been a long time since I had gone to school, but it is one of the best human experiences of my life!
