Why study an English course in Ireland?
Small but never boring: Ireland's entire Wild Atlantic Way coastline fits into a convenient weekend road trip. Cliffs of Moher in the morning, traditional music session in Galway by night. A whole country begging to be explored
Festival culture is THE culture: Irish parties aren't just for tourists. Locals are proud of their culture and the community behind it. Whether it’s St Partick’s Day in Dublin, or the Leadh Cheoil festival across the country, be prepared to shout your English over loud music!
History everywhere you turn: Dublin's cobblestone streets date back centuries, Cork's English Market has run since 1788, Belfast's murals tell decades of stories. Every step you take is a peek into the old world.
Craic is the real curriculum: "Craic" means fun, banter, good times, and it's embedded in Irish culture. Language schools here don't just teach grammar; they get you into the friend groups, festivals, and conversations where you actually use what you've learned.
Learn English in Ireland: Where the fun doesn’t stop, even when you come home
You're in Ireland now - and the student experience here is unlike anywhere else in Europe. Weeknights mean live traditional music sessions in packed pubs, pints in hand, music so good you forget you were planning an early night.
Weekends open up the whole island, hiking the Wicklow Mountains on Saturday, surfing on the Wild Atlantic Way on Sunday morning, and back in Dublin for a party in the evening. There's no off-season in Ireland. Just different reasons to stay out later.
The best part? Every conversation becomes a lesson - buskers asking where you're from, vendors explaining what "rashers" are, locals debating whether black pudding is delicious or terrifying. You'll be picking up English whether you mean to or not. It doesn’t matter what language you came with, you’re leaving with an Irish accent!

Getting your visa for an English course in Ireland
If you’re a European citizen travelling to the Republic of Ireland (e.g. Dublin, Galway, Cork, Bray, or Limerick). Good news! You won’t need a visa. You'll still need to register with the Irish immigration authorities once you arrive, but the process is straightforward, and our team can walk you through it.
But if you’re a European citizen travelling to Northern Ireland (e.g. Belfast), then you’ll need to adhere to UK visa regulations. For short stays, you’ll be able to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), which is quick, simple, and cheap (roughly 19 euros).
If you’re travelling to Northern Ireland for longer than 6 months, or you’re a non-European student travelling to Ireland, then you will likely need a student visa. It may seem daunting, but don’t worry! Our team will be with you every step of the way to ensure you get the right visa for your trip.
