Housed in a large, beautiful, fully-refurbished Victorian building in Hove, BSC Brighton is ideally located within walking distance of the beach and Brighton’s shops and the city centre are less than 20 minutes away by bus. The school’s glorious garden and terrace play host to regular barbeque parties in the summer months. The school has 15 bright and spacious classrooms spread over two side-by-side buildings.
Trainee teachers have access to a full range of teaching materials, a dedicated teacher training library, free Wi-Fi internet and a photocopier that is also free of charge. The library holds a comprehensive range of applied linguistics materials and all of the recommended titles on the reading list.

British Study Centres schools are among the most respected in the EFL world, teaching English to thousands of students each year. The teacher training courses are delivered by qualified and experienced teacher trainers.

Host family
Living with a host family is an enriching experience from both a social and linguistic point of view. Staying in a single room, you will be provided with half-board and enjoy the benefits of sharing experiences in total immersion with your local host. The families often live in residential areas, around 40 minutes from the school by bus.

Student house (from 18 years)
If you want more independence, a student house is a great option. Staying in a single bedroom, meals will be at your own expense, but the kitchen is at your disposal. The living room and bathroom are shared with the other flatmates. The student houses are between 10 and 20 minutes' walking distance from the school.

Phoenix Hall summer residence (from 18 years) (01.07-02.09.2019)
Located in the centre of Brighton near the iconic pier and 20 minutes from the language school by bus, the Phoenix Hall residence offers excellent value for the money. Staying in a single room fitted with a desk, chair and wardrobe, you will be able to prepare your meals in the modern, fully equipped kitchen together with the other international students. The private bathroom will offer you a certain amount of comfort and welcome privacy. A TV lounge, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are also available. Each apartment accommodates up to 8 students, so you'll have plenty of chances to meet people!

Brighton & Hove is one of Europe’s most exciting university cities. Home to a huge festival each year, lively music venues and great restaurants with particularly good vegetarian options, you will find plenty to see and do during your free time. The shopping streets of the Lanes and North Laine are excellent for clothes, presents and everything else under the sun. If you need a rest, Brighton’s famous beach is never far away and is the perfect place to enjoy an ice cream on a sunny day. Hove’s cricket ground is next door to the school and London is just 50 minutes away on the train.
