Staying with a host family is the ideal option for discovering the Italian culture and practising Italian daily. The families are selected with care and are situated around 30 minutes away (by public transport) from the language school building . You will stay in a single room with half board provided. This experience will also allow you to get to know the Roman way of life from the inside (customs, culinary habits...) and to get a taste of local hospitality.
Shared apartment (from 18 years)
This accommodation option allows students to share an apartment with Italian inhabitants (generally adults) or with other students from the school. You will have your own bedroom as well as free access to the common rooms and will be responsible for preparing your own meals. Prepare a typical meal from your country for your new friends and ask them to do the same for you!
To discover Rome and the Italian culture, our partner school offers the opportunity to participate in differet afternoon and weekend activities and outings (some of them are free or at a reduced price): guided tours of Rome, art history and Italian architecture itineraries, cinema, literature, visits to the prestigious parks (Villa Doria Pamphili, Parco della Caffarella, Appia Antica, etc. ) and excursions to Naples, Pompei, Orvieto, Florence and to the seaside. The Italian capital offers plenty of possibilities for going out in the evening all year round, but if you stay during the summer, the famous 'Roman Summer' (Estate Romana) turns Rome into an endless party...
