What better way to enjoy small town life than by living with the locals? Homestay experiences are a fantastic opportunity, as you’ll be able to practise your language skills every day with your host family. You’ll be staying in a single or twin room and enjoy breakfast and dinner with them. You’ll live an authentic immersion experience together! Host families are usually located between 5 and 35 minutes away from the school in central Torquay. Free Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided, and laundry is included once a week.

A converted hotel, this picturesque home-style residence, located just a 2-minute walk from Kaplan Torquay, is the ideal spot to explore Torquay’s winding streets and nearby beaches! It boasts an outdoor space and a picnic area. Students will be placed in a single ensuite room, each is fitted with a desk, TV and wardrobe. Free Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided, with linen changed every two weeks and rooms cleaned weekly. Enjoy the communal space to socialise and catch up with the latest Netflix series, along with a fully equipped shared kitchen!
